Indications
Zavicefta is used to treat the following infections in adults and children aged 3 months and older (see sections "Particulars of use" and "Pharmacodynamics"):
- complicated intra-abdominal infections;
- complicated urinary tract infections, including pyelonephritis;
- nosocomial pneumonia, including ventilator-associated pneumonia.
Treatment of patients with bacteremia occurring in connection with or suspected to be connected with any of the infections listed above.
