Indications:
Topotecan monotherapy is indicated for:
patients with metastatic ovarian cancer after first-line chemotherapy or further therapy if no positive effect was achieved;
- patients with recurrent small cell lung cancer for whom repeat first-line chemotherapy cannot be recommended.
Topotecan in combination with cisplatin is indicated for patients with recurrent cervical cancer after radiation therapy, as well as for patients with stage IV-B. To confirm treatment with this combination in patients previously treated with cisplatin, an assessment of the cisplatin-free treatment interval should be carried out.
