Indications:
Doxorubicin is used to relieve symptoms in a number of neoplastic pathologies, including the treatment of breast, lung, bladder, thyroid and ovarian cancer; osteosarcoma and soft tissue sarcomas, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas, neuroblastoma, Wilms tumor, acute lymphoblastic leukemia and acute myeloblastic leukemia. Adriblastine shows a positive effect in the case of superficial bladder cancer with intravesical administration of the drug both after transurethral resection (preventive treatment) and for therapeutic purposes.
Positive results have also been obtained in the treatment of other types of solid tumors, but experience with the drug is still limited enough to justify its special indications.
