Hylenia is indicated as monotherapy to modify the highly active relapsing-remitting course of multiple sclerosis in the following groups of adult patients and children 10 years of age and older:

• Highly active patients.

This group includes patients with in which a full and adequate (at least one year) course of treatment with at least one disease-modifying drug (exceptions and information on the washout period are given in the sections "Particulars of use" and "Pharmacological properties") did not show a therapeutic effect.

• Patients with a rapidly progressive severe relapsing-remitting course of multiple sclerosis.

Dozuvannya

For adults, the recommended dose of fingolimod is 1 capsule of 0,5 mg orally once a day.

For children (from 10 years of age), the recommended dose depends on body weight:

• for children with a body weight ≤ 40 kg – 1 capsule of 0,25 mg (if it is possible to obtain such a dosage) orally once a day day;
• for children with a body weight ≥ 40 kg - 1 capsule of 0,5 mg orally once a day.
