Faslodex is indicated:
as monotherapy for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer with estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women:
who have not previously received endocrine therapy, or
in case of relapse of the disease during during or after adjuvant anti-estrogen therapy or disease progression during anti-estrogen therapy;
in combination with palbociclib for the treatment of hormone receptor-positive (HR-positive), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer in women who have received prior endocrine therapy (see Pharmacodynamics section).
In premenopausal or premenopausal women perimenopause, combination treatment with palbociclib should be carried out in combination with a luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) agonist.
