Indications
Treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis of mild or moderate severity.
After starting treatment, the dose of the drug should be titrated as follows for 14 days until reaching the recommended daily dose, which is 9 capsules per day:
- Day 1-7: 1 capsule 3 times a day (801 mg/day);
- 8-14 days: 2 capsules 3 times per dose (1602 mg/dobu);
- Starting from day 15 onwards: 3 capsules 3 times a day (2403 mg/day).
The recommended daily maintenance dose of Esbriet® is 3 capsules 267 mg 3 times a day with food (total daily dose 2403 mg/day).
