Alecensa drug® as monotherapy is indicated as a first-line agent for the treatment of adult patients with ALK*-positive advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
Alecensa drug® as monotherapy is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with ALK-positive advanced non-small cell lung cancer who have previously received crizotinib.
How to use and dosage
Alecensa treatment® should be initiated and supervised by a physician experienced in the use of anticancer drugs.
A validated test should be used to confirm ALK-positive NSCLC. ALK-positive status of NSCLC should be established before starting treatment with Alecensa®.
Dosage
Recommended dose of Alecensa® is 600 mg (four capsules of 150 mg) 2 times a day (total daily dose is 1200 mg) with food.
Initial dose for patients with severe hepatic impairment (class C according to Child-Pugh) is 450 mg twice a day with food (total daily dose is 900 mg).
